Bowmanville Parade

We joined in with some other families at the Bowmanville parade. It seems all the other men were busy. Doug wondered why he didn't get the memo. Best floats were the cars float, the live animals from the Bowmanville Zoo and a Narnia float that I forgot to take a picture of as I was admiring it. Not bad for little Bowmanville.

Halloween and a picture in between

sdjee-wildlife

Fall fun with trips to farms and corn mazes and of course Halloween. We had Jeremiah as an alien who went out with his friend Dylan from school. Elizabeth the little pig went out trick or treating too. Emma our medevial dragon went with her friend Alison to a party at her friends church. Everyone got lots of candy and had fun. Favourite neighbourhood sighting was a man who had modified a chain saw scaring all the kids with the motor and fake cardboard blade.

Thankful for Thanksgiving

Thankful for beautiful weather, creation, food, family, food, football and more food. Vehicles to travel and safety on our travels. Did I mention food. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.

Go big or Go home!

Doug came up with a new slogan this summer go big or go home. In this case he went big at home. I call it our Bonaza swingset.

perma smile

After much asking I am finally getting around to posting these pictures for Jeremiah. Many of you know Jeremiah is working hard on a program called Discovery to help him at school. The prize at the end of his three years is much learning and a dirt bike. He got a taste of the dirt bike life this summer with the Gabourie family. His smile seriously lasted for about an hour or longer.

Emma's horsey birthday

For Emma's 8th birthday it was all about horses. She had a great time with her friend Julianna from Brampton. They went horse back riding, watched a horse movie, had a horse pinata and of course had a horse cake.

Wildeboer campout

How much fun can you fit into a few days, well the Wildeboer's do their best.

Wildeboer family campout 2006

9 adults and 10 kids makes for the August 2006 Wildeboer campout. With no shortage of things to do beaching, boating, zip line, swings, playground, digging in the sand, newest project a tree fort 25 feet up in the air. Lets not forget lots of food including birthday cake for Jason(nephew) and Jan (Doug's mom). Of course smores and pie iron for the campfire. Lots of fun had by all.
